Subhasis Das is a seasoned healthcare professional with nearly three decades of global pharmaceutical R&D leadership, complemented by a strong commitment to advancing compassionate palliative care in India. He holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has led complex formulation research across Oral Solid Dosage (OSD), ophthalmic, injectable, nanotechnology-based, and controlled-release platforms.

Throughout his career, Subhasis has worked with renowned multinational and Indian pharmaceutical organizations, contributing to advanced global product development for the US, EU, and emerging markets. He has successfully developed and commercialized over 55 pharmaceutical products and is the inventor/co-inventor of 13 international patents, reflecting his deep technical expertise and innovative mindset.

Motivated by a personal mission to bring dignity, comfort, and scientific rigor to patient care, Subhasis has transitioned his leadership strengths to Kalaza Care. His passion lies in applying evidence-based practices, structured clinical frameworks, and empathy-driven approaches to elevate the quality of life for patients and families requiring palliative and supportive care.
